I am a native English speaker living in Hampshire, England. I lived in South Africa for many years. My background is coaching and training in the sports, health and fitness industry. I am an animal lover and enjoy spending time in nature. My other interests are History, Travel, Food and Culture. I am a certified TEFL teacher (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and have been teaching online since 2019. I am Patient, organised and understanding. I have experience teaching all ages. During lessons, I encourage conversation so that the student learns to 'think' in English. I type what is being said to improve spelling and reading skills. The student then reads the sentences back to me in their correct form, perfecting pronunciation. I use images and worksheets to practice specific problem areas which are then practiced more through our conversation.

I always enjoy our lessons. Hardly does one end I look forward to the next one. We have fun and a lot of topics to discuss. This was a very surprising lesson. Samantha offered really helpful and entertaining teaching methods in the first lesson and pointed out different possibilities how to practice. It was impressive and it is noticeable that she is a really seasoned and professional teacher. I really enjoyed it, thank you very much!

La mia insegnante rende piacevole la lezione, parliamo della vita quotidiana e a volte commentiamo notizie di attualità. Nel corso della lezione mi lascia parlare e mi aiuta a formulare le frasi che mi creano difficoltà. A fine lezione mi invia l'allegato con le parole o le frasi che mi ha scritto in chat. Samantha è una bravissima insegnante

L'insegnante è calma e professionale, riusciamo sempre a trovare argomenti di cui parlare e mi corregge quando sbaglio, senza però mai interrompere il mio discorso. Penso di essere stata molto fortuna ad averla trovata perché mi rende piacevole l'ora di inglese.
