One of the best online classes I've ever taken! Iris had a plan prepared and was able to ask me questions, and correct my use of Basque with a document that she shared with me. She also allowed me to speak in an encouraging environment, always allowing me to finish my thoughts before showing me the proper grammar or vocab for what I wanted to say. Incredibly helpful, excited to learn more with her.

In addition to being incredibly detail-oriented, resourceful and supremely organized, Julen is a fantastic instructor. Any company would be lucky to have him. Not only does he easily assess situations “a la minute,” providing solutions to different scenarios in multiple languages (I spoked to him in Spanglish), but he was quick to share his strategies with others-and generous enough to make you understand the “class material”. In one (1) session, which I extended from the 30-minute trial, to an additional hour, also booked an additional 5 hours, he outshine himself. I used to work in TESOL at Teachers College Columbia University and I know a star when I see one! I highly recommend.

We had an amazing face-to-face class in Bilbao with a lot of cultural activity !!! We wandered around the streets of the city centre where Nere explained to me the history of some of the nicest buildings, she took me to the traditional food market where we tasted typical Basque pintxos. While walking on the street we did a lot of fun vocabulary exercises by translating the signes, street names, billboards from euskera. We finished at a library where she helped me to some some Basque literature books that are appropriate for my current level to keep improving. Mila esker Nere!!!

I've had 20 lessons with Rodrigo now, and my Basque has improved so much. I have mostly Rodrigo to thank for that. His style of teaching really works for me: we do grammar at this point, but he introduces the concept and then it's all about me using the grammar and telling him things. So I need to make full sentences, which works for me much better than doing grammar drills. He will make you talk and you will learn to understand, although he doesn't keep you guessing words you don't know (which is important for me). If you want to learn Basque, I would recommend having Rodrigo as your teacher!

I enjoyed the lesson very much; after three classes I now feel a lot more confident when speaking - which was what I wanted to happen. Furthermore, I am beginning to understand more and pick up incidental vocabulary. I am also grateful for the homework and Irati's general willingness to be helpful. Eskerrik asko!

Cada clase que he realizado con Garazi ha sido muy enriquecedora ya no solo para afianzar conceptos y aprender nuevas palabras y diversas estructuras de frases. Me dí cuenta que la metodología que utiliza realmente se adapta a lo que cada uno necesita, sin ir mas lejos, yo hace poco me estaba preparando para presentarme al examen de nivel B1 de euskera y me ayudo con todo lo necesario para obtener las mayores habilidades posibles e ir lo mejor preparado. Sin duda, una profesora que en cada clase hace que mejores un poco más, todo ello tambien se debe a su simpatía y cercanía por querer ayudar. Recomendaría a cualquiera que quiera empezar o mejorar con el euskera que se pusiesen en contacto con ella, porque merece la pena.
