After completing professional Mandarin Chinese teacher training programs at NTNU and CCU in Taiwan, I began tutoring students from the USA and Australia. In 2018, I had the opportunity to teach Mandarin in Vienna, Austria. Although it was a short-term program, the experience changed the way I teach. It encouraged me to become more creative, flexible, and open-minded when working with diverse learners. Since returning to Taiwan, I’ve focused on teaching Mandarin Chinese full-time—applying what I’ve learned from each student and experience to make my lessons more effective and enjoyable.
