Young Dutch tutor with a passion for languages I have been tutoring since the start of 2025. In that time I've given more than 100 lessons. Most people taking lessons with me are settling in the Netherlands, or are moving to the country for a job. My approach is focused on diverse, real-life topics and conversational skills. In addition to my experience on iTalki, I have years of experience learning languages myself, using all kinds of methods. I am available to teach you in English or Spanish.

Throughout the years I learned how important it is to keep lessons enjoyable, but challenging at the same time. Being a musician, I obviously incorporate musical elements into my lessons, which will run through it like a main thread. By figuring out what exactly you would like to learn and paving the way towards reaching your own goal, with lots of fun and laughs along the way, I’m confident that my classes will provide you a fun way to learn a new language. We will make our Dutch classes funky, because funky starts with FUN for a reason!

From an early age, I came in contact with various cultures during travelling and having multicultural friends. There I noticed how I love to be in contact with others and how much energy I gained with this. Exploring each other potential is one of my favorite things to do. I like to work constructively and I believe that conversations in other languages flow naturally when your convo partner makes you feel at ease. Your learning process is central here! Therefore I don't blame you if you would only want one class if there is no connection between us. Our class would be like drinking coffee together ;).

During the covid period, I have been a community tutor and help people from all over the world. People from the USA, Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Poland UK, Spain, Chilli, Brasil, New Sealand and South Africa. The topics we can talk about are very broad. Traveling photographer & filmmaker that loves learning ánd teaching languages I'm quite relaxed and patient, but I will definitely challenge you enough to make sure your level goes up every class. I do think however, that it's okay to make plenty of mistakes since this is a big part of learning a new language and also from what you learn the most. So during our conversations or an exercise I will mainly let you go ahead and discuss some corrections later, instead of constantly interrupting you. The most important thing is that you get a lot of practice with the language, that speaking Dutch becomes comfortable for you and that you show progress instead of shutting down because you're striving for perfection :)

As a language student myself, I know the struggle of learning a new language, so it would be my pleasure to help you learn one in a more relaxed and spontaneous manner.

Get started now!!! I know the difficulties that come with learning a new language so i want to make it a good experience. It requires patience and confidence to speak a language. To create this we have to build a good foundation by understanding grammar, and find a flow by practicing conversation. I want to create mostly a comforting atmosphere. Ik geloof dat veel oefenen de beste manier is om een taal te leren. Door het maken van fouten leer je ;) Tijdens het autorijden onthou je de weg veel beter als je zelf achter het stuur zit, dan dat je passief meerijdt. Zo werkt het ook met een taal, je onthoud de woorden en constructies veel beter als je er zelf actief mee aan de slag gaat door middel van gesprekken!

trained NT2 teacher with more than 2000 classes given Until the start of the COVID 19 crisis, I was teaching both online and in a language institute in Mexico where we take our students from beginner level to proficiency. But since the start of the crisis, I have been teaching online fulltime. I´ve always loved meeting people and talking to people so when I stopped travelling and settled down here in Mexico, working as teacher was a logical step. I really enjoy seeing my students develop and improve. I´ve taught people between the ages of 14 and 70. My students tell me they like my classes because I am patient, have a sense of humor and because I make them feel comfortable in speaking the language that we are learning.
