Experienced Dutch / Flemish teacher When my children began going to school, I started looking for a job that gave me flexibility and put me in contact with people. Knowing various languages, teaching these seemed like a good solution. And I noticed that I was quite good at it and enjoyed it a lot. Wherever we were (USA, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, India), it was not too difficult to find students.

I'm waiting to enhance your (Belgian) Dutch flow :) I've been regularly teaching, tutoring and conversing with language students from all over the world since the past few years. In the meantime (July 2022) I finished a teacher training, specifically focused on language teaching. In January 2023, I even launched a complete self-paced video course for beginners of Dutch with 14 hours of content + exercises.

Bringing YOU from any level to a higher level, and answering all YOUR questions, that is my aim. Clearly, your aim is to become fluent, right! Let's just talk in 4 languages about your topics of interest. Grammar is minimized. Rather than "understanding", far better is to get the feeling for what sounds good or not. It's all a question of transferring this feeling to you, in any of the languages I am fluent in for so long already.

trained NT2 teacher with more than 2000 classes given Until the start of the COVID 19 crisis, I was teaching both online and in a language institute in Mexico where we take our students from beginner level to proficiency. But since the start of the crisis, I have been teaching online fulltime. I´ve always loved meeting people and talking to people so when I stopped travelling and settled down here in Mexico, working as teacher was a logical step. I really enjoy seeing my students develop and improve. I´ve taught people between the ages of 14 and 70. My students tell me they like my classes because I am patient, have a sense of humor and because I make them feel comfortable in speaking the language that we are learning.
