Hallo! I'm a professional German teacher and I have been teaching German and English since 2009. Please note: I'm only offering 45 minute lessons (but italki has the 60min option automatically). Please only book the 45 min option, thank you! :)

Speaking is the best way to learn a language, so my lessons usually center around having an actual conversation in German, but I will also give you grammar instructions and help you with pronunciation as and when necessary. If you struggle with any particular grammar topic, we can of course also dedicate a whole lesson to that. Generally I'm happy to adapt myself to your needs and preferences. While we talk, I make extensive notes in a google document, I write down new vocabulary with example sentences, grammar instructions, corrections, etc. You'll have access to this document during and after the classes.

In my final thesis I explored how cultural differences are manifested in languages and how they are mistakingly carried into target languages by learners. Ich mag es, meinen Schülern einen Rahmen zu bieten, in dem sie sich ausprobieren können, ohne in peinliche Situationen zu geraten.
