English, Lithuanian and Spanish teacher :) I've been teaching students of very different ages. I try to adapt my classes to the level they need in order to make them feel confident. I like to focus on the four skills in every class, but Speaking is always present even when teaching the other skills. I think it is very important to teach in a dynamic way, therefore, I use different materials and sources in order to make the class more appealing and interactive. Although I'm an English teacher, I can also help with my native language which is Lithuanian or Spanish. I've got C2 DELE Spanish certificate and I've been teaching foreign students Spanish too. I studied Finnish and Russian languages in Russia. I hold Master's in these languages. After my studies, I started to teach Finnish, Lithuanian and Russian languages privately and in group settings. As a teacher, I am patient, understanding and always listen to my students’ needs and wants.

In our lessons, we work from books such as "Colloquial Lithuanian", "Nė dienos be lietuvių kalbos" and other resources online. My main goal is for you to feel safe in making more mistakes which then leads to confidence expressing yourself in Lithuanian. From years of working in Behaviour Change with people, I know that adding new routines is not easy. Busy life and competing commitments make it difficult to stick to a routine. While I am encouraging and supportive, my best advice for a beginner is to lower your expectations when learning. Less is more at the very beginning while you are building a routine.

Learn Lithuanian with a Passionate Native Speaker | Beginners Welcome! I mainly teach adults, but I also work with a small number of children as young as 7 years old. I’m happy to teach children as long as they want to learn and can stay focused during lessons. However, I’m not qualified to teach children with autism or ADHD, so in such cases I kindly recommend seeking a certified specialist. If you are looking for a tutor for your child: please note that I do not have access to Lithuanian Primary or Secondary school workbooks. Also, I don't know what is required to pass Primary or Secondary school exams. In that case please seek qualified school teacher or educator who works with school curriculum.
