I have been studying Swedish with Johanna for quite some time, and it has been a great experience. She is patient, understanding, and always takes the time to explain anything I find difficult. I appreciate how she encourages me to actively use the language through speaking, writing, and reading, which has really helped build my confidence. I had been trying to learn Swedish on my own before, but working with Johanna has made a noticeable difference in my progress. I have been learning Swedish with Pia for about six months. Her experience, kindness, and sense of humor shone from our very first class. Lisa is a great teacher. During my first lesson with her, she took the time to really understand my goals and put together a plan to help me reach them. Klara is patient and clear, and she allows for fun at classes. Her way of correcting is kind but detailed, and she writes the corrections down to show you later so you can focus on speaking. Today's class was mainly conversation practice, she let me think about what I did not know first and give it a couple tries instead of inmediately giving me the correction, which is great. Then we reviewed homework and I got to ask questions. Super great time management as well.

It is amazing for me to see how far I have come thanks to Nicole. Back when I started I thought I had some basic understanding, but now, in recent weeks something just clicked, and all of the sudden our classes are 80% conversation in Swedish only (I do need to find some words). I never imagined it would happen, but it did, and it is really thanks to Nicole, for giving me the confidence and courage to speak and the results are showing :) Tussen tack Nicole :)

My trial lesson with Mina was wonderful! She was super understanding about my learning disability (now dubbed my superpower thanks to her) and it felt like we bonded instantly. She’s really easy to talk to and was very interested in figuring out what way will work best for me in learning Swedish so she could tailor the lessons just for me. The conversation flowed and I never felt awkward or judged for my superpower nor my lack of language skill since I’m a beginner in every sense of the word. She didn’t sugarcoat the challenge ahead but she made me feel confident it’s something we can accomplish together. I am very much looking forward to our next lessons and I will update this once I’m further along!

I’ve had many great language teachers, but I honestly didn’t realize how much Swedish I could learn in just one hour until I started studying with Sanna. Her gift for teaching, extensive experience, and focused commitment to my language goals make every lesson truly valuable. And we always have a lot of fun! I give her my highest recommendation.

Hanna is a great teacher for those who want to practice speaking Swedish. They speak clearly and adjust well to the student, providing plenty of verbal and non-verbal feedback where needed. Hanna makes sure that lessons have a prompt (a news article or similar) to jump off of, but they are also easy to chat with. I recommend them to anyone who wants to gain more experience producing the language in a patient environment.
