今週の金曜日に私は卒業式なので、学校で支度をします。例えば、ワルツを踊る支度です。

今週の金曜日に私は卒業式なので、学校で支度をします。

I just wandering wether you have your celemony on this Friday, or you have a preparation for the celemony that day. This confusion may be cased from unclear use of tense.

a) If you want to say, I have my graduation celemony on this Friday and I did that preparation today......

今週の金曜日は私の卒業式なので、学校で準備をしました。 

 *you need Past tense. 　します→しました

 *の　is postposition which indicate possessive. I shall give some example as below：

  私の車、　あなたの犬、　彼のカバン、　彼女の学校

more fluently, you can say,

今週の金曜日に、私の卒業式があるので、学校で準備をしました。

*ある　is verb. ex 予定がある。　Ｉ have a something to do.

b)If you want to say, I am going to do dansing on this friday, for a preparatio of the graduation celeomny......  

私の卒業式のために、今週の金曜日に学校で準備をします。

*のため　means 'for'
