Chiyo

I have been studying with Chiyo sensei for about 6 months and because of her my Japanese has gotten so much better! While I still have a long way to go, she is especially good at making me feel like I can talk about anything, and we do talk about anything! Chiyo sensei is also very good at understanding what I am trying to say, even when I don't quite have the skill or vocabulary to say it yet. I highly recommend you try talking with her!

I always look forward to and enjoy my conversations with Chiyo sensei! I enjoy them not just for the language learning, but also for the pleasure of talking about different topics. She is especially good at understanding what I am trying to say, even when I don't know the grammar or vocabulary to say it! Because I can talk about many things with her, it keeps me engaged and motivated! No matter what level you are, I highly recommend you try having a conversation with her!

I always enjoy talking with Chiyo sensei so much! The time flies by and we speak Japanese the entire lesson. We can even talk about complex things because she is so very patient and because she has a knack for understanding my poor Japanese. I always feel happy at the end of our conversations and am surprised by what we have been been able to talk about. Every time I talk with her I feel more motivated to keep learning! For all these reasons I highly recommend trying a conversation or lesson with her no matter what your level!
