Fatma Betül

I started studying Turkish with Betül mid April 2021 and I am very happy with her approach. What I like most about Betüls way of teaching is that she almost only speaks Turkish during her classes (which was a bit daunting at first, but this is the quickest way to learn a language). She also encourages me to speak a lot, to create my own sentences and she gives me a lot of self-confidence. We share a Google document in which we can both add comments (very handy to print out after class, I don’t have to worry about writing down everything). She is always very well prepared and the lessons are structured, so each time I feel I have improved. I have been doing a few immersion weeks with Betül, 1 class/5 days, and every time I notice a considerable improvement in my Turkish. But apart from all of this, she is also a very nice and funny person and I always look forward to our classes. She is very professional, knows the grammar very well and explains it thoroughly. Thank you very much!

I've now been taking lessons with Betül for about nine months and Betül has been with me in the trickiest phase - the intermediate phase. We have mainly been working on conversation and thanks to her support and kindness I have been able to develop a good portion of confidence when speaking Turkish. Now, when we have lessons, it often feels more like having a chat over coffee with a friend than anything else :). Still, Betül continues to give me very helpful feedback on my oral production, always allowing me to finish my thoughts and providing me with alternative ways to say something if necessary. Lovely lesson! Enjoyed it immensely. Fatma Betül hoca is very patient while correcting speaking erros. She writes down corrections so students can refer back to them later without stopping the students while speaking. She then goes over them with the students. This strategy helps students improve both speaking fluency and accuracy. Teşekkür ederim Fatma Betül hocam. ❤️

I enjoy my lessons with Fatma a lot becoz we talk on different topics and practice a lot and she teaches in a very fun way and makes lesson interested and everytime i make a progress. Thank you Fatma ❤️

Today was my first lesson with Betül and it was really amazing, she explained everything very clearly, she is really kind and professional, she gives very helpful resources and feedback and I feel like I already learned a lot and we didn't waste a minute. Really looking forward to more lessons.

She is a great teacher and made me feel really comfortable. She has good materials too. Right now she is helping me find all the gaps in my grammar and I really appreciate her help.
