06/2016 - 09/2018. I used my spare time to teach Chinese to primary school students in China. This experience taught me more about students' psychology and how to get their attention so that they could learn more.
11/2018 - 05/2020, I began to work in an after-school tutoring program. I taught junior high school students Chinese and politics and did some management work.
06/2020, I started working on Italki. I have taken classes with students from more than 20 countries and completed nearly 3,000 classes.

I had a great first lesson with Yujie. She provided excellent feedback for tones and I learned new useful vocabulary. I love that she incorporated and explained parts of Chinese culture and common scenarios I might encounter into our lesson.

Great lesson as usual. I've been working with Yujie for almost a year, and my confidence using and understanding Mandarin has improved greatly. She is a patient tutor who is easy going. I'd recommend anyone looking to learn or increase their Mandarin fluency at any level.
