In many countries, woman no longer feel the need to get married. Some people believe that this is because woman are able to earn their own income and therefore do not require the financial security that marriage can bring. To what extent do you agree or disagree. In the contemporary era, becoming self-dependent and taking care of needs, females are stepping out the marriage paradigm and traditional roles of both men and women. It’s considered to be due to their earning capability which was earlier depended on the husband’s income. I am agree with the statement and further information about it will be discussed in this essay. To begin with, in nowadays society women do not require to get marriage to obtain financial stability. This happens due to the strong women empowerment imposed by the authority. Currently, men and women are believed to be equal. Therefore, discrimination is totally disappeared from the society. For instance, engineering and the medical field which historically dominated by men, now experiences equal participation among both sexes. This ironically coincides with the diminishing number of weddings. However, I do believe that alliance between two people is paramount.  Interaction of a couple aimed at solving all sorts of problems can be ground for growing financial success. As a matter of fact, the increasing number of divorce cases could have psychological impact on women by perceiving marriage as a risk. In conclusion, I agree that women’s financial self-dependent can influence a number of marriages. However, I am totally convinced that it’s not the only one reason. Contemporary regime of life, people’s habits and, definitely, fear of a failed marriage might also be arguments.
