Does "nursery" mean a place to plant trees or a room to raise babies? An architecture pitching ideas to a couple who plans to have kids and they like garden.

It's a baby's room because they're discussing the use of a space inside the house. A nursery as in a place to grow plants would be outside.

Nursery means both, like you described, but in this particular example it means a room for a baby. ☺️
