Sugar is a sweet substance that seems unharmful for consumers. It, however, can cause many detrimental impacts on humans' health if it is consumed at a large amount. For instance, eating too much candy is likely causing children dental issues such as teeth decay. Furthermore, for those who have underlying medical conditions like lacking insulin, regularly consuming sweet food will result in a serious disease called diabetes.
Personally, when I was a child, I was literally addicted to chocolate. This may be because my parents have excessively indulged me. As a result, I got some teeth extracted, which was a miserable experience I have ever had. In general, if we are healthy and moderately intake sugar, it will have no negative effects on our health.
