The first person who came to my mind is local artist, which, unfortunately, is no longer with us. His name was Rafael, but he was better known as Rafo. He painted in the style impressionism and post-impressionism and was esteemed person beloved by his friends, relatives, fans and students. Rafo devoted his life to art and teaching for betterment of his students.
If my memory serves me right, I met him when I was 16 and I vividly remember our interlocutions on long evenings in his workshop. He possessed a very charming personality and was a great mentor I turned to for advice. He was my friend, my inspiration and worth person.
A week ago I was near his workshop, where is the banner with his portrait and realized how much I miss him.
