The purpose of this report is to examine how international students are currently welcomed to the college, analyze whether these welcoming activities are effective or not, and to make recommendations of actions to be implemented next year. Currently, the traditional welcoming party is a hallmark of the college. This is where seniors show the facilities to the first year students. After that, the new students are brought to the theatre to hear speeches by the Principal (Head of the school/president of the university) and representatives from different departments. At that time, students can ask questions about the college’s programs and other activities. A short while later, all the members of the college converge in the main yard to (verb?) experiences and hobbies until the day ends. As a result, it is strongly recommended that the Principal's speech be eliminated from the day's events. and that several projects be arranged where students have to make use of their social skills to discover what the university can offer them. In addition, it would be very effective to create a web survey, where students could make suggestion about how they would like to be welcomed. In the light of this report, it is crucial to modify the traditional event and make some immediate changes if the college in interested in being sufficiently attractive to students in the 21st century . If the organization members do not know how to tackle this, it would be a good/ an excellent idea to hire a company specialized in these sort of events.
