Mine is to suck it up and to start speaking! I’m so behind in my language learning because I’m so shy, but I finally took the step to use this application, and started speaking Japanese!

This years resolution for me is to get out of my comfort zone and do something that I normally would not do. I started this resolution right away. I am in Iraq right now, I got here on January 4th, 2022. It is a whole different world and culture here, totally different from the states. This new world will be my home for 2 month, my return flight is on March 2nd. Currently while writing this I am in a bit of homesickness. I miss my family, home, bed, television, and most importantly, my bathroom. However tired or homesick I feel, I understand that this is best for me. As a person. And as a language learner.
