In my country wedding customs vary depending on the location, but there are some general customs which are used everywhere. One of them is throwing rice to the couple after the ceremony for good luck and prosperity of the relationship. Another custom is when the bride throws the bucket of flowers to her single friends and the lucky one who receives it, is considered as the next to get married. Only women are participating to this custom! Finally, one special custom is when the couple two days before the marriage is holding a special party for relatives in their future permanent home. Relatives and friends will throw on the bed money as gift and one little boy as a special wish the first baby to be a boy.
