Something about commitment When I was in the 2nd grade, I finally managed to persuade my mom to get me a kitten 😸 😈 I had been pestering her with this idea badly for several years, and she eventually gave up on condition that I would take care of the cat - feed it, teach it, and the most significant part - clean up after it. Should I say that mom shouldn't have trusted me? We had been keeping the cat named Marquis for 10 years, until mom suddenly... gave him to our family friends. It was such a relief for her. That family had a daughter of around 7 years old, while I was a teenager by that time, with new interests and hobbies, other than taking care of the cat πŸ˜₯ They say that a pet can teach a kid to be caring and kind person. Well, it didn't work for me. I sometimes see Marquis in my dreams, trying to find him, as if I had left him somewhere. Hope, he had a good life πŸ™
