Baekhyun of EXO is making his solo debut in Japan.
His music label SM Ent. announced today that Baekhyun would release the self-titled mini-album “BAEKHYUN” tomorrow. It will be the first time for the 28-year-old singer to debut as a solo artist in six years after EXO’s debut in the country.
In the lead single “Get You Alone,” Baekhyun will offer a ‘bad boy’ persona. This tune was unveiled at his first solo concert held last month. Besides “Get You Alone,” the album will include five other tracks.
Debuting as a member of the popular boy band EXO in 2011, Baekhyun released his first solo mini-album “City Lights” in 2019. The album sold 500,000 copies within the first week of the release, proving Baekhyun’s strong fanbase as a solo artist.
In addition, his second mini-album “Delight” from last year sold more than a million copies, making Baekhyun a “million-seller.”
