If I have an article where all photos are taken from the one source, what is the correct way to write a caption if I want to specify this source only under the first photo? Can I write "here and elsewhere photo credit: [source]"

That is difficult to answer. What is the context? Are you writing for a newspaper or magazine or a school writing assignment? The method of crediting a source varies greatly depending on the venue.

When I was a writer I was told to become a great writer one must read great literature. To break through to the next level perhaps you should find a book on your level and then challenge yourself by finding a more difficult read. Once you can read Ulysses by James Joyce you will have bettered the average native English speaker. If you told me your current reading level with examples I could put together a tiered group of books to gradually improve with.
