Thanks to COVID-19, it's been a few months since the last time I traveled, but I have to say that my last trip was one of the best of my life. I started an exchange in France for one year, and I remember the day when I arrived, I didn’t know any French at that moment--just English and Spanish. For some reason, I had thought that either would be more than enough, but no, nobody there, or at least the majority, speaks either of those languages. Thus, when I first met my host family, the communication between wasn’t easy. However, the worse thing was when we were at the car, and a bus suddenly hit us! Essentially, a minor accident, but it was crazy--the police came, everyone was looking at us, and I didn’t know what to do. Now, of course, it’s just a good story to tell others.
