Written Exercise 32- Happy Spring Festival! Today was the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year which we called 大年初一. It was warm, cloudy and breezy. That was good weather to be outdoors. A friend of mine and I went out and took a 30km+ long bike ride, had lunch and visited a park. We had a great time and a great start to the Chinese New year. Picture 1 is a golden decorative tree placed in front of the entrance of a building. Picture 2 is a blossoming peach tree placed in a shopping mall. Pictures from 3 to 8 are the flowers we saw in a park. I like the flowers in the pictures 6 to 8 very much. They are beautiful, aren't they? They are called galsang flowers. Not only I but also others took a lot of pictures of the flowers in the park. Picture 9 is a dish of baked rice with chicken, bacon and cheese. I had it for lunch. It tasted good but it was a high-calorie food. What a wonderful day! Thank you for reading! I hope you all have a wonderful day too!

Picture 9 is a dish of baked rice with chicken, bacon and cheese. I had it for lunch. It tasted good but it was a high-calorie food (or ... but it contained a lot of calories). What a wonderful day! Thank you for reading! I hope you all have a wonderful day too!
