If we had taken decisive action in the beginning of the pandemic, we wouldn't be coping with the current situation. I think we've shied away from that responsibility because our government has always been afraid that choosing a different path would set us against other nations, which I found pretty dramatic. At least I hope we have learned something. Let's see how this going to play out.
