When was the last time someone told you they were proud of you? Last week, I had my annual evaluation (I think "evaluation" is a better choice than certification) from my work. For my evaluation, I talked to and received feedback from my local supervisor and the department head. This was an important event for me and meant a lot to me to receive a favorable evaluation as it is critical (OR needed) to get my salary increase (OR simply needed to get a salary increase). The conversation with my supervisor took only fifteen minutes and it revolved mainly around how I was doing at work and how satisfied I was with my job. She told me that the company is proud of me and she hopes to see me working there next year.
