Some people say that it is better to promote healthy lifestyle than spend so much money to treat obese people. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Undoubtedly, funding has been hot topic for discussion in our community last few decades. While some people argue, that the budget should be aimed at increasing the popularity of healthy lifestyle, others believe that obese people deserve special attention and need support from the state. Personally, I partly agree with both points of view. On the one hand, the issue of obesity closely tied with the problem of lack of activities and unhealthy food. According to The World Health Organization, many of causes of overweight are preventable and reversible. Curbing the obesity epidemic will required a sustained governmental and political commitment, because it is not a problem that can be solved alone person. Taking care of health is too expensive for people and countries. A recent The World Health Organization study showed that there are plenty of ways to prevent obesity in both kids and adults. On the other hand, the power cannot focus on only preventive measures and ignore obese people. According to statistics from The Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, roughly 40 percent adults and 14 percent children and adolescents in the world have overweight. It is undeniable that these people need medicine help and financial maintenance from the government. Funding medicine centres should be including to measures to combat obesity. Hence, money must be directed to both promotion healthy lifestyle and support for people with obesity issues. To conclude, the power has to pay attention to popularize sport, healthy nutrition and active lifestyle to prevent increasing amount of obese people. At the same time, people having weight problems need to draw government's attention as well. From my point of view, funds should be distributed evenly for solving the existing problem and preventive steps.
