Generally my plans for the weekend are very varied, sometimes I like to drink beer and talk with friends I haven't seen for a long time, other times I like to practice some sport or go to places I didn't know, generally I try to do something different on my weekends that takes me away from the routine.

Generally, my plans for the weekend are very varied. Sometimes I like to drink beer and talk with friends I haven't seen for a long time; other times I like to practice some sport or go to new places. Generally, I try to do something different on my weekends that takes me away from the routine. ~~~~~ a few options: "go to new places" "visit places I've never been to before" "visit places that are new to me" "generally" can be an introductory word at the start of a sentence (with a comma after it) or you can put "generally" between the subject and the first verb. Both of these options are correct: "Generally, I try to do something..." "I generally try to do something..."
Really good job writing this, Camilo!
