"MEGLIO" or "MIGLIORE"?
Very often students make mistakes while using these word, both of them meaning "better" in English.
What's the difference?
"MEGLIO" is an adverb and "MIGLIORE" is an adjective.
What does this mean?
Meglio is the comparative of "bene", meaning "well",
Migliore is the comparative of "buono" meaning "good".
So I can say:
Canto meglio di te : I sing better than you.
Questa pizza è migliore di quella : This pizza is better than that one.
Did you ever make this mistake? I hope the explanation was useful!
