Late last month, the Japanese actor Takeuchi Yuko took her own life at the age of 40. Sources say that her husband found her dead body early Sunday morning at around 2:00 a.m. in their apartment. For those who don't know much about her, Takeuchi Yuko was at the forefront of the Japanese entertainment industry in the mid-2000s by featuring in various hit TV series and movies such as "Be With You" and "Pride." Personally speaking, Takeuchi Yuko was undoubtedly my first Japanese celebrity crush when I was a teenager. I used to read a lot of Japanese novels back then and really liked the novel version of the movie "Be With You." That's why I even watched the movie as soon as it came out. Even though the movie was pretty boring, Takeuchi Yuko was so beautiful in it. She seemed to have the exact warmth and the kindness of an angel I imagined the female character from the book she played would have in real life. And she's gone now :(...But I will always remember her as the first Japanese lady who made my heart sing.  I pray that she rests in heaven. 😇. And I hope for the best for her husband and two young sons. 🙏
