Finally, after many nights with utter darkness in the sky, the big moon has returned! No words can be used to describe my longing for looking back at it again on the sky. I sat down with my eyes locked on the vastness dark every night, never losing hope and waiting for Selene and its soothing comeback.

Hi Mistie. This is beautifully written 😊 A few comments: (1) the moon is 'in' the sky; (2) the vast darkness (unless you wanted to say the vastness of the dark sky); (3) 'her' soothing, if you are talking about Selene.
