Hello! I have listened to the story in English and I have found some new words for me, so I tried to make sentences for each word. Kindly please if you want to give me correction, I will be very thankful for your help! 1. hatch : I curious and want to see how the chicken eggs are ready to hatch. 2. poke: I was poking my heads out the window when my friends called me. 3. wander: Sometimes I have an imagination that I can wander to all the world. 4. shiver: I can not imagine that how Holland so cold now! I would be shiver if I was there. 5. chap: Hey, smart chap! Please help me to do my homework! 6. peck: When I fed my chicks, they peck it immediately. 7. beak: All of the birds definitely have a beak. 8. peasant: Almost of the peasant of my hometown is a friendly person. 9. ashamed: My husband looked ashamed of himself when he talked to me for the first time. 10. bowed his head low: My cousin must bow his head low when he entered the room because he is taller than the door. 11. bend: My husband bends his head to kiss me. 12. astonish: He was astonished when he got a birthday surprise from his family.

Hi Etsha, this is such an awesome way to practice! You did a great job. I'm not sure about #5, because I'm from the US, and we don't really use the word "chap." For #6 ("peck"), if a chicken (or another bird) is pecking something large, like a person or an animal, or a tree, you can say "peck," as in, "He's pecking me!" If it's pecking something tiny, like grains of food, we usually say "peck at." I didn't quite understand what you wrote for #8 (peasant). Great job with everything!

My husband looked shy of himself when he talked to me for the first time. 10. bowed his head low: My cousin must bow his head low when he entered the room because he is taller than the door. 11. bend: My husband bends his head to kiss me. 12. astonish: He was astonished when he got a birthday surprise from his family.
