Hello! I am learning Farsi and was looking for some helpful ways to help learn the language, as well as some native speakers to practice with.

if you are learning on your own, I would recommend a textbook like "complete Persian guide" that is considered a self teach book as the main resource, and supplementing it with other resources on the side, these would be good: for using your dead times, "chai and conversation" podcasts are very useful. for vocabulary you can use the text book and also Drops application. of course building your own flashcards on anki or similar SRS apps is also very useful. for reading, perhaps the website "Lingq" would be helpful. compared to other languages like French or Chinese Farsi may have less resources, but thankfully there are more and more resources everyday.

I think the best thing you should do is to start learning with structured lessons that follows a pattern (you should start with book) and also have homework too.
