Writing Exercise 306 – DESCRIBING A MOVIE This afternoon, I watched one of the
series movies called Fei-hung Huang, starring Jet Li. The movie's plot took place in the Qing dynasty in Guangzhou and was about how Fei-hung Huang, a Kungfu Master, who defeated corrupt mandarins and saved the life of a British ambassador who sold fake medicine to Chinese for profit, as well as the lives of women who were being sold to Southeast Asia. A group of fake monks took a temple as a smoke screen. They kidnapped the female believers who were worshiping at the temple, then passed them to the corrupt mandarins, who conducted the human trafficking business. However, one of the mandarins was cunning and knew that Master Huang, who was
a righteous man, would mess up his dirty business. The mandarin expelled Huang from the city for one reason or another. Fortunately, not only did Huang find his business, but he also knew the trick that the mandarin was going to use to kill the British ambassador in a show. Finally, Master Huang defeated the bad men with his excellent kungfu and saved the lives of the people.
