When I was younger, I thought a proper degree is necessary and important. If I was me before, I would have told them it was shame that they didn’t go to university and have a degree when I heard those who had dropped out. However, now I don’t think of that way anymore since I went to university late. Life is yours, it all depends on you whether you want to continue studying or not. It’s never to late too learn. Maybe a decent degree could get you a better job but it can’t define you. Does it sound natural?

When I was younger, I thought a proper degree was necessary and important. Back then, if I heard of people who dropped out of university, I would have told them it was shame that they didn’t finish and have a degree. However, now I don’t think of it that way anymore, since I went to university late. Life is yours, it all depends on you, whether you want to continue studying or not. It’s never too late to learn. Maybe a decent degree could get you a better job but it can’t define you. Does it sound natural?
