*cut someone some slack
For the last two weeks, I kept myself busy by studying and reading.
In the morning, I did stretch, which made me very energenic and help me focus on my studies.
I spent about 5 hours sitting at my desk.
After that, I was tired and my eyes hurt, and I had to rest for a while.
I think sometimes pushing myself to the limits is necessary but cutting yourself some slack is equally important.
Could you please correct me?
Which one is more natural?
