What books do you recommend? Recently I am reading Stephen King's "the shining" but still don't have the motive to finish it 😂 usually I will prefer to read the novels which movies based on because it would be easier for me to picture the scenes inside my head. I'm open to all kinds of novels :) thanks! #EFL

Young Adult novels and teen books are the best to learn for contemporary language. I'd suggest The Hunger Games if you like dystopian stories; Percy Jackson and the Olympians if you like Greek mythology and adventure. The 39 Clues is a series of short stories of adventure and solving mysteries. If you like vampire, magic, and cheesy romance I'd recommend The Vampire Academy. If you want a quick read (aka short story) The Ocean at the End of Lane is an amazing fantasy read albeit there's no adaptation of it as of yet. The Hobbit is also a fantasy and adventure short story book; great read; easier to read that the other Tolkien books.
