Cabbage kimchi is the type of kimchi that Koreans eat the most. ●설탕 ○n) sugar -저는 보통 커피에 설탕을 두 숟가락 넣어서 마셔요. I usually add two teaspoons of sugar to my coffee. ●소고기 ○n) beef -요즘 소고기 값이 내렸어요. Beef prices have gone down these days. ●소금 ○n) salt -국에 소금을 너무 많이 넣어서 짜요. The soup is salty because I added too much salt. ●쌀 ○n) rice -우리 아이는 쌀로 만든 과자를 좋아해요. My child loves rice crackers. ●양파 ○n) an onion -저는 양파를 좋아해서 스파게티를 만들 때 많이 넣어요. I add a lot of onions when making spaghetti because I like them a lot. ●오징어 ○n) a squid -서양 사람들은 보통 구운 오징어 냄새를 싫어해요. Many Western people don’t like the smell of grilled dried squid. ●재료 ○n) ingredients -같은 재료로 요리를 해도 만드는 사람에 따라 맛이 달라요. All of a sudden, I couldn’t remember my friend’s name. ●꼭 ○adv) surely -다음 주에 시험이 있으니까 학교에 꼭 나오세요. Be sure to come to school for the exam next week. ●만나다 ○v) to meet -작년에 여행을 가서 만난 친구가 한국에 올 거예요. A friend I met on a trip last year is coming to Korea. ●물론 ○adv) of course -물론 예쁘고 똑똑한 사람이 좋아요. I like pretty and smart people for sure. ●보통 ○adv) usually -보통 몇 시에 퇴근합니까? When do you usually leave work? ●스케줄 ○n) a schedule -내일은 스케줄이 복잡해서 약속하기가 어렵습니다. I can’t promise anything now because I have a tight schedule tomorrow.
