I disabled almost all notifications on my smartphone and on my laptop. This was a major point helping me, focusing on the important stuff. Also I set a maximun time for social networks, news applications and games. After I spent the fixed amount of time in a certain app I get locked out, till the next day.

When I have a list of things to do: I make a short mental checklist: is it urgent? would it pay me? and how can I do one thing as a break from something else ? I don't think too long, I limit myself in time for execution too, since my day can be interrupted at any moment. I have to focus, so inner peace is important, especially if I could not complete a task - peace helps me remember to return and finish things off.

Minimalism is the future. My room is mostly empty and my phone only has apps that are important to me. Also, I only have notifications on for whatsapp and my friends and I prefer talking in person, so we mostly only message each other saying we should hang out.

I like to lock myself in my dressing closet with a glass of wine and turn my phone off. If I have French lessons I just use my laptop.

One small change that has helped me was removing some apps from my phone and accessing them with my laptop. I'm not tempted to waste time ao easily.
