I was working in a restaurant for 4 months when the coronavirus arrived to Spain and we went into a lockdown. That changed everything on me. I asked to myself: "if the world ends...are you happy with what you do?" And the answer was "no". So I decided to fulfill one of my dreams, go to Ireland and work as an aupair to improve my English and try the experience of living abroad. It took me few months to find a host family and then when we did the match I booked the flights and I left everything. Now it’s been 6 months that I haven’t been able to visit my family in Spain. I really miss them. I’m happy here and I know that I don’t want to go back to live in Spain, but I’m looking forward to be able to hug my granny again as soon as possible. I try to keep positive because I’m doing what makes me happy, I’m improving my English, I live in a lovely village, I’m alive, and all those things that I have but not gonna lie this is being really tough.

(I hope you feel better soon!)
