When we talk about countries we don’t use “the” or “country” to mention it. When me talk about things that we can count we use “many” instead of “much”. And then we use the word in the singular form here. I think that “traditional food” would sound more natural in this case. But you could also say like “typical food” instead of “typics food”. In English we use the adjective before the noun. Also about the verb TO LIKE: we would use “likes” just if the subject was singular (ex. She likes). But here “people” refers to all people so it’s plural. About the food’s name... here, you have two options: you can say the ORIGINAL name or you can say the English name that is “basket tacos”. I added “they” because in this case we can’t omit the subject. You don’t need to add “s” to say something is cheap. And to finish... when you want to talk about the origin of something, you can say that this something “comes from (somewhere)” to sound more natural.

Much is used for more abstract situations (I don't have much) (I have too much food) Many is for countable things, if that makes sense (I have many apples) If there are multiple people, it is "like" not "likes" (She likes and they like)

Mexico has many different types of food throughout the various regions. I live in the city of Puebla (unless the official name is Puebla City), where the people like to eat tacos ( does canasta refer to the way they are served? I don’t want to change your meaning) because they are very delicious and because they’re cheap. Tacos originally come from the the region of Tlaxcala.
