Climate of Great Britain
Great Britain is located in the British Isles. Great Britain is bordered by the seas from all sides. That's why the climate and the nature of Great Britain are very specific. There is not too cold the winter and not too hot the summer. There is no ice on rivers and lakes in winter. Snow falls very rarely. But it rains in all the seasons of the year. The weather changes very often. It happens because of influence of the Gulf stream.
Mark Twain once said about America "if you don't like the weather in New England, to wait a few minutes" but that would be the right thing to say about England. Great Britain famous for mists. Sometimes mist is so thick, that to see something impossible over 2 or 3 meters.
Englishmen also talk, that there are 3 variants of weather: when it rains in the morning, when it rains in the half part of the day or during the whole day.
In this way, we can say that the British climate has three main traits: it is soft, wet and changeable. This soft and wet climate is good for plants.
