There’s a very common phenomenon in our society that some athletes in specific areas can become quite famous in their countries or even the whole world and also can make lots of money, while other professionals can never get such an achievement. When it comes to whether this phenomenon is reasonable, or if we should let this happen, views might vary from person to person. Some may say this is absolutely normal because those athletes could have put much more efforts into their specialities than others. Also, those who become famous and earn more money than others usually occurs because they take advantage of what they do. In other words, if people love to watch their sports, then they will gain more of an audience. In addition, those audiences can help them become much more well-known, and then the sponsors will come after to ask those celebrities to advertise. All these things can help some sports professionals earn a lot. However, others will say this phenomenon is so unfair that it needs to be corrected by the public, with which I couldn’t agree more. From my point of view, no one can be successful without making a great effort. Many scientists, professors and artists have been putting so much work into working hard, and they do make remarkable contributions to our society. Unfortunately many people may not even know of their existence, not to mention their contributions. Those professionals contribute as much as what other “successful sports professionals” contribute, nevertheless, they cannot get the same salary as others do. And I really feel bad for these specialists. Anyhow, this argument will probably last for decades. Yet, I hope this unfairness will be taken care of appropriately in the future.
