Day 18. On my birthday 2 months ago my friend gave me a certificate to the bookstore "Read, city" (probably the translation isn't correct😅). So today is a big sale in this store. And I've already ordered a few things. I will show you what exactly I have bought when it comes but today I want to tell you about one of the ordered books. About 10 years ago I watched the film 'Into the wild' for the 1st time...and this movie became one of my favorite movies immediately♥️ It is based on the book with the same name written by Jon Krakauer. And the book is based on the real story that happened in the early 90s. Christopher McCandless, a young man from the good family, decided to leave the society and travel to Alaska where he was going to live into the wild, surrounded only by nature. In the movie we can see his way there and what happened to him in Alaska. Last time I saw the movie was a few years ago and I think it's good that I forgot some details because it's gonna be more interesting for me to read the book then. I am looking forward to reading this book but at the same time I feel it wouldn't be better than movie for me. What makes this film is so special to me is not only the story. There are amazing views of nature and marvelous magic music by Eddie Vedder (oh my, I love it so much!). Some people didn't like this movie because they thought that the main character is reckless, selfish and stupid since he refused everything for the weird and careless dream. But it was a real story, non-fiction, and it was Christopher's own life and his own decision, how can we blame him? I wouldn't choose to live into the wild (especially alone) but I'd like to travel as him (so pity that I can't😔) P. S.So bad there is no English version in this store:(
