Easier said than done. Sound like a broken record. Cup of tea. These phrases are my favorite as of now. I'm trying hard to use phrases as often as I can on my speech. Being able to use more phrases sound like native speakers I feel like that. There are many phrases out there however I do not remember it.

Cup of tea - please explain, what does it mean? Where do you use it?

Well you can also add couple more f handfuls ones like’ it’s raining cats and dogs’ which means raining heavily. The other one is ‘diamond in rough’ which means having great qualities but not refined or developed due to less exposure or chance, for example,Nida’s speaking skills are quite like a diamond in rough which could be enhanced and improved. Thanks
