Day 5. ¡Hola! I have been studying Spanish about a year and half. After several months I could read a little, mainly the tweets because I subscribed to several Spanish and Argentinian sport channels. It helps me a lot, but main app for me all this time was Duolingo. Really it's easy to choose app for studying English, but if we speak about studying Spanish is Doulingo that comes to mind first. I still use it, and I like it. What I really like about Duo it's their podcasts. Unique thing that they are not only help to understand language but they tell you about Spanish world. 500 millions people speak Spanish around the world. I was in Spain on holiday once. But I knew nothing about other Spanish - speaking counties. What comes to your mind when you listen to the word 'Argentina'? For me it was: Maradona, tango, Natalia Oreiro. Now it's Malbec, asado, futbol - and it still means Maradona . It's like to discover a new world. Do you know that the purple corn exists? Now I know. Or, for example, cumbia - argentinian music, it's so new to me. I don't know how it works but I really want to know more about culture of Spanish-speaking countries. I want to visit Buenos Aires one day or see the Andes. I think people in South America have completly different mentality from me and it makes studying Spanish so interesting. ¡Hasta luego!
