Hey Guys Last month my girlfriend and I took a challenge to raise money
for a hospital. The challenge was to run/walk/cycle one hundred miles in a month. At
first we thought: Why are we taking this challenge? [Or, What were we thinking?] We are not good runners! The first step
was follow the plan: 100 miles divided by 4 weeks is equal to 25 miles. 25 miles
divided by 7 days is equal 3.5 something - it's not a big deal, right? In the
end we got our challenge done. What we have learned: 1 - Breaking down big goals
into small measurable goals is the key to achieve anything. 2 - Surround
yourself with people who have similar aims 3- Supporting and motivating each other is
very important 5 - Having a plan and sticking to it is crucial - some days we
couldn't get the miles done due to weather conditions 6 - Be prepared to adapt -
as I said above, despite having a plan we couldn't control the weather
conditions so we had to get more miles done the following day. Tell me when
was the last time you took a challenge? What did you do and what did you learn
from it? Have a great weekend!
