[Hyundai Motor to operate 'Future Car School' for 5th and 6th graders] South Korea's leading carmaker Hyundai Motor disclosed yesterday that the company is set to launch an education program "Future Automobile School" in 20 elementary schools this year. The program is organized with an aim to nurture future talents in the automobile industry. The education course will offer lessons on various topics from future energy, eco-friendly mobility to future city projects for 5th and 6th graders. Hyundai Motor plans to add 200 local elementary schools that offer the program next year in an effort to expand the relevance of its educational project. Since the signing of a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with South Korea's Ministry of Education in 2016, the automaker has been running the program in nearly 300 local middle schools. "We hope that our program helps students who struggle to decide their future careers to get insight into the automobile industry and various career options," said an official from Hyundai Motor.
