This is a real story. It was in the late 80 s, to supplement my family's livelihood. I opened a clothing store at the East People's Road right under Fuyang Restaurant. Across the road, there was a street food stall called 田三卷馍 (tian-san-juan-mo). It was very simple, like, just one person, one small stall, then everything was done. This kind of street food could almost be found on every street in my city back then and no people thought it could go big. It seemed like I also ate it several times and I didn't think it was something special. The clothing store seemed like it had only opened for two or three years, then I left there. But the 田三卷馍 gets bigger and bigger. It has already become a famous local chain restaurant brand and now there are about fifteen branches in my city. Of course, the foods they sell now are not only 卷馍, they sell lots of food and all are delicious. The owner, 田三, is a farmer from the rural area of the city. Back then, he was only in his twenties and at the very beginning of his business, he sold it from street to street with a shoulder pole. His business can develop on such a large scale today, I have to admit that he is a business genius.
