I'm starting to understand Korean suddenly recently. Except for technical term, I can understand 50~60% of conversions in drama. Come to think of it, I have over 1000 hours input of K-drama and TV program. I've studied English for 7 years but I can understand only about 60%, which is almost the same as Korean even though I've been studying Korean for just 3 months. 😂 If I keep studying Korean, my Korean would be much better than English within 7 years.

That’s amazing. I am trying to learn Japanese. Could you recommend J-Drama for learning?

I'm jealous of your progress in Korean! As a native English speaker I feel the same way in regards to closely related languages like Spanish.

Hi Haruka! 👋 Great job! I’m not a native speaker nor an English teacher but I try to help as best as I could. Hope this will help you 🤗
